I think it will too. Also since your thinking about the uppipe from perrin, you might want to check to see if they're running any sales on an uppipe/downpipe special. Sometime's you can find a really good deal if you get both at the same time.

I personally would get the Helix flex uppipe. Much easier to install, and cheaper.

You could also get ahold of an STi uppipe. Catless from the factory, flex joint, manufactured by Subaru for Subaru. You can't beat that for stealth or fit.

Doesn't the STi uppipe have a different ID than the WRX one?

I believe it's very close to the same size. The main difference is that the STi uppipe is catless....

more uppipe ?'s

what does a flex joint do? does it actually allow the pipe to flex under load or is that just another name for a cat?

No, it allows it to flex. It is still catless.

He's upgrading to the PE18 turbo, and I believe he wanted a larger diameter uppipe.

Just to clarify, You're saying I can an STi uppipe (any year) and it will be a direct bolt in for my 2004?? Are there any issues with sensors/CEL using the STi pipe?? Are there any gains to be expected as compared with aftermarket? If anyone knows where I can order one.....
Thanks

My two cents... I went to the dealer and they said the STi uppipe probably won't work on the WRX, but they aren't too bright out there. I also have heard people using them fine w/ a WRX.
