Up pipe? Worth it?

Ive finally decided to purchase a cat-back exhaust... i will immediately purchase my downpipe to get them installed at the same time (obviously a lower rate.) If i purchase all these items, should i also buy the Up pipe? What difference will it make in sound and performance. All in all is it worth it? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Yeah an uppipe is definately worth it IMO because it replaces that cat that could damage the turbo. You probably won't notice any HP gain, but it allows you to safely raise boost. It will probably be a little louder since a cat is removed too.

Also be aware that labor costs to install the uppipe will be in the ballpark of $400 or more due to the fact that it takes a long time to do the install due to having to use one of two techniques. One being remove the turbo, two being jack the engine up.

Up-pipe connects to the headers on one side and the downpipe on the other side.
As for third gear...what RPM are you shifting at?

Uppipe connects to the heads on one side and the turbo on the other. Then the turbo connects to the downpipe
