Up/Down pipes

So i just installed my new pipe, got a 2 1/4" up pipe and a 3" down pipe. Had a catback for a few months now. So i took it for a test drive and wow, i didnt expect to see gains like that. Its like having a whole new car, now i just gotta get a tune and ill be set. Was smoking a bunch when i took it for a little test run, had to tighten the oil line that goes into the turbo. Just wanted to say though, without the info on this site which eventually lead to the perrin site i would have never got that damn up pipe out!!!!

sounds good! You'll find the tune to be even more of a help because in addition to similar power gains, it greatly smooths things out and wakes up the low end of the EJ20.

Congrats on the new power. Enjoy it and be careful with it. Like Mosc said, just wait till the tune, a whole new smile then.

+1, since getting my tune the turbo starts spooling much earlier. Also once you get some EM your boost is going ^

I want to run the boost around 15 or 16, but i dont wanna rush and break stuff. Gunna try to get a stage 2 map from a guy at work and get a dyno tune closer to summer, just gotta find a place that can do it.
