TXS intercooler FYI
Hello all, About three weeks ago I posted a question about a compatible splitter for the TXS TMIC in my 04' WRX wagon. I put an STI scoop on the car to help matters. REXronald said he had heard about an APS splitter that should fit because they make an intercooler that's even bigger than the TXS. Well he was right! I put it on this weekend and the fit was CLOSE but it did fit. After driving for a couple of days I did notice a slight rub at each corner of the little lip that sticks down at the back of the splitter where you are suppose to put that rubber seal on(the seal does NOT fit)but it was nothing a little Dremel work couldn't fix! So my verdict is in....the APS splitter works so I give it two thumbs up and thanks to all who replied. Take care Pete.
