i agree Tut...
looks better with scoop remaining... I actually cut mine a bit short because it actually angles back towards the intake filter on the short ram... therefore it is truley serving a purpose by taking at least some cool ram air and channeling in general direction of the intake.. (which would otherwise be getting mostly hot air as its sitting so close to the engine block/turbo/upipe/etc....
I also leave the hole in the fender well open as that too is a good source of cooler air... I made a little plug for it when it rains so the filter doesn't intake any water...
