The tubes that are connected to the stock intake stay there. You aren't replacing that part of the intake. You are only replacing from the MAF forward.

I'm not sure what tubes you are talking about. Do you mean the main intake tube itself? Or the smaller ones connected to it?

I think he means the main intake tube. The only thing you need to take off the airbox.

Im sorry guys for not being detailed enough, i mean, when you open your hood that black skinny/wide intake tube that gets smaller and goes down the fender. I just leave that alone? Thanx

You mean the thing in the yellow polygom? That's the ram scoop or whatever it's called, and you can leave that there yes.

He's talking about the piece that resides in the fender wall. That scoop connects to it, then the silencer connects to the airbox.

If you don't have the silencer then you don't need the Ram air scoop because it serves no purpose.

Covers the ABS box and makes the bay looks more streamlined IMO, that's why I left it on there. Not like all that weight loss is going to help you again (being fully sarcastic).

I don't like how it looks actually. I think it looks better in the engine bay as long as you have it cleaned out. Just my .02
