cobb kit is more expensive and nvidia is in the same bracket they are all pretty much in the 11-1300 bracket. From what i found, maybe you guys know cheper one that coud do the job.
If i buy the Uppipe Downpipe a Highflowcat the midpipe but i keep the OEM exhaust and i protune it, does i get the same gain but with a "low profile" look as the cops are bitch for loud exhaust around here.
Here in Quebec we don't have emissions test. But now they don't like loud exhaust because there been to much honda with cherrybomb or other loud exhaust. They can force you to do a Mecanical inspection and if you don't have a cat your screw.
So i think i'm going with the Borla Hush twin tips to have an OEM look with a sound not to aggresive.
So I still got another questions for you guys. Does An HKS UP and Downpipe are gonna fit with the borla midpipe?? Obviously the uppipe is gonna be ok. Borla are talking of a 3" adaptor for downpipe do i need it? Is HKS downpipe good??
thx again for your help.
Sorry for my english.
You'll need an adapter likely with ANY downpipe you get because the hush uses the stock donut flange. It's not a big deal, don't stress it. It's a great exhaust and you'll love it. The rumble is deep and rich without being obtrusive. At higher RPMs it does make enough noise to make you smile too but at idle it's not much more than stock.
HKS downpipe is not a good one. Or, at least it didn't used to be. It was the only one I could name that was NOT a bellmouth type design. I use helix because they make a relatively cheap catted version (you might want catted if you don't like stink and more noise). Invidia (sp?) makes catted ones pretty cheap as well. Prob start with them and compare. You're looking at $100 extra for the cat btw, factor that in your comparisons.
Not a problm, thrice. Like Mosc said, HKS is not the DP to get. Look into the Invidia DP. Its a bellmouth design and you can get catted or catless. If things are like you describe, I would just save up or spend the money needed to have the catted DP just ot be on the safe side. Keep us updated.
We have a Catted TurboXS exhaust for $945.00
Titanium one for $1061
Stealth Back for $691
PM me for ordering details.
