Turbo Timers

Anybody know anything about the Blitz DTT? I understand that it has a built in boost gage. Right now I have a stock '04 but I plan to upgrade in the future.

I know one thing about it. I know it's no longer in production....

They are coming out with a new one, but no word on when it will be released.

Greddy is pretty good too. I have the Apexi. Works fine, just no bling if that's what you're after. They all work pretty much the same. The Blitz is popular because of the boost gauge.

Or you can just in your car for 3 mins, lol. Then again you dont need a Turbo Timer on a WRX.

Why do you say that - no timer?

Because letting your car idle does the same thing.

And also the turbo has a coolant line, so the coolant will keep on circulating until the thing is cool, hence the reason theres no mention of a cool down procedure in the manual, unlike the SRT-4 and DSMs which do tell you to let the car idle.

Uhh... no. The water pump circulates the coolant.

technically, the processes of evaporation and gravity move the coolant after the car is turned off. At least thats how I understand it.

Well, my daily commute is 80+ miles, and I don't have time to let it idle when I get to work - so I think I'll make the investment. The boost gage alone seems worth it to me.

The turbo is higher than the coolant send and return lines, so I don't see it working.
