Yes.Tons of people run stock internals on turbos bigger than even 20G's.It's not so much the turbo, but how much boost pressure/airflow.The VF43 is not that big of a turbo.

You could run a preprogrammed map, but custom tuned maps would be better. Just make sure you have the supporting mods to go with it, i.e. exhaust, injectors, fuel pump. Larger intercooler would also be recommended but not absolutly necessary.
After i put in the sti turbo and injectors how long can i go before i tune it? Is it bad if i go a week? because I'm having trouble finding a tune shop around my area.

Then maybe you should hold off on the install intill you research more. The car will drive like poop with out a tune. There are alot of options for remote (email) tuning available.Spend some time researching in the tuning forum.Opensource or AP is the route you need to look at.

hi there.i am new.but i personally have experience with "untuned" ecu after i have done most of my mods.
what i did was i slapped on a 20g right after i removed my stock td04.replaced fuel pump with the hks one ,fuel regulator , pe 770cc injectors ,oil catch tank ,bov ,3" tomei d/p uppipe , catback , fmic , all done almost in a shot as the tuning for my hks fcon vpro is like 3 weeks away.and for that period of 3 weeks is really like a nightmare.tons and tons of backfiring and vehicle is running way too rich.fuel consumption is crazy and i am like getting less than 200km on a full tank of 98ron? vehicle is super laggy and totally non responsive...
so my best bet is , get the parts installed and tune asap .as long as u dun wot it before tuning ,it should be quite safe, jus feels sh**ty .
