is it true ?

can i fit a performance downpipe to my 04 wrx without changing any of the timing or fueling maps as ive been told it doesnt effect these or the boost levels.

I've heard of plenty of people running just a TBE and I plan on doing it in the future. I do believe however it does raise the boost a small amount as compared to stock.

when i put on my down pipe i didnt notice any change in boost.. if thier were they were very little.. the car felt alot faster though .

Boost does raise about 1.5 psi.

This is correct boost does go up about 1-psi, due to less restriction from the cats

If you have a mbc set to a certian psi it wont change anything.. if you just stock then yes it will
