No, sell it. That is WAY too big for a td04

You going to a 20G/GT32 soon?

Is there anything wrong with your stock valve?

If it's not the QR, then the BOV you have DOES NOT recirculate. If you install it, and are not tuned (speed density), your car is going to run real funky.

Aside from being an actual bov and the potential issues with it, it's also a BIG valve.

I run the QR which is the same 50mm design as the Q, just recirculating. The issue with it is at low boost levels there isn't quite enough air to open the valve fully so you get a bit of compressor stall. As long as it does it at low boost/load and not when you hammer it then you're fine. The one thing you need to make sure to do is run a dedicated line off the intake manifold to the top port (aka no T's off for a boost gauge or anything), and make sure it's a good size line so you get as much air to the valve as possible.

The q does have a pretty nice sound, but honestly the QR has a much different sound than my oem valve did and I did feel like it provided a bit better throttle response because it STAYS SHUT until you let off.

I had a GFB BOV on my wrx, the sound was cool for awhile, then it started surging. Long story short I put the stock BPV back on and man the car runs so much healthier. Dont do it!
