throttle body problems

Hey guys I have a 2004 Subaru WRX and it seems to start idleing up whenever I have it idling after driving. i took a look at it and it looks like the springs on the throttle body might be expanding. I'm not sure if that could be the reason or noy. if any one has had the same problem, how did you fix it? my question is that I'm looking into a new throttle body but, all I can find are 70 mm so I don't know if i can bolt one on without ruining the performance of the car? could it bring the performance up? which would be great too.
