I had to many buds screw their cars up from MBC's. It's not worth it to put a $80 part to blow your $500, $600, $700 turbo. SCREW THAT!

Our cars already have this in the ecu..... but if you got your bearings together, and as mentioned do not put in a MBC but an EBC you can work things out....
But be pretty hard n yourself because to turn boost up at a touch of a button is always sooo tempting!

If you really want to control it yourself you will need to be protuned for an EBC. It costs way too much and just isn't worth the hassle when you can simply adjust your boost with proper EM.

Again I ask for what year and model car? You have a Jetta listed as you car, so are you planning on getting a 02-08 WRX-STi-FXT-LGT then the answer would be no. On a another car I can't say unless I know what year and model car.
