Stock WRX 04 intake installation

When I bought my 04 WRX(used), it already had AEM Cold Air Intake. As I searched the intake issues in this forum, I decided to go with stock intake. Since I never had stock one, can someone tell me how many pieces are there to install? Because I searched on ebay and they're all different. And is it true that STI stock intake doesn't fit on WRX because of mass air flow? Thanks

Technically the stock intake has three pieces. The ram scoop, resonator in the fender and the actual rubber piping to the air box. The main piece you need is the rubber piping to the air box that's all.

Good Luck,

It is the black scoop deal under the hood all WRX's and STi's have. It is where the intake grabs they air from, you need it.

If he's going for the factory intake, he should have it. It helps with airflow into the airbox.
