TGV deletes with grimmspeed spacers
3'' TBE

6 speed gearbox
R180 diff + custom made chromoly drive shafts

aaand various other things i cant remember...

Nice runs.

What do the Aussie WRX's redline at ?

daletron 08-09-2011 07:12 AM

redline is 7k through to 9k.
not sure on the rev limit.. 7500 maybe?

ive hit it plenty of times in 1st and 2nd but im far to concentrated on the road to look at the tacho.

What kind of fuel do you have access to over there? The dom likes boost, if you can throw 24+psi at it you'll be in the power for sure.

Yea i heard they like big boost, i dont really want to push my car past 25psi though :S

My car is tuned on 98ron which is equivilant to your 93ron?

Hmmm... That stock TMIC is really holding you back then man. Dom3 should be pushing at least 350 hp to the wheels at those boost levels.

Sure is!

this tune was only really to get my car drivable for the time being.

FMIC will be going on in the next month, then we will see what she's made of!

Stock cams will probably hold me back after that :(

If your running stock heads on that then those will be your next biggest bottle neck...

What do stock WRX's put down on that dyno? Seems a little low for a 2.5 hybrid, DOM 3 and 19 psi. On the stock 2.0L,Blouch 16G-XT,BPM TMIC and 20 psi I'm around 330 awhp. This is on 93 octane.

im not sure what stock wrx's put out.

my setup is heavily restricted by the stock wrx tmic. once i change that and up the boost there will big gains.

I doubt the top mount is at fault for all of that... maybe half... I'm calling it.

really?

I would think that the shyte cooling efficiency (especially on a dyno) and flow rate of the stock unit would have a rather large impact on top end figure?

:)

Heads...stock 2.0L heads suck, ask me how I know????

im with you on this one. although my heads have been pnp'd, the cams just dont cut it.

one day when i have the time and can afford the head work ill do it, but for now they will have to do.

on another note, dyno's over there seem to be very very happy! just sayin !Laugh!
