Sti Hood Scoop and Air diverter

I recently got a huge deal on a STI TMIC and wanted to upgrade to a STI hood scoop. Does anyone know a good place to get the air diverter that will fit my 04 wrx? And does it really make a difference?

I was looking at this one STI Air Splitter for STI Hood Scoop

thanks
Neil

Yes, it makes a difference. You can get one from a stock sti (try car-part.com). I'm not sure if the one in the link will work because it doesn't specify whether or not the 04/05 one is jdm. If it's jdm, it won't fit. The jdm ic is bigger than ours.

I would say you're good to get that one. The 02/03 one is specificly labeled "JDM" so if the the bottom one was JDM they'd list as such.

Just mod the stock wrx one like I did. It works if not better than the sti one!

I'll take a picture when I get home. I had to cut the splitter and remove the rubber part.
