sti bov

well im recirculating my bov ### the turbo isnt holdin boost and i think thats it. so im goin from my greedy type rs to the stock sti BOV. some guy off the forums offered me his sti bov, and he crushed it. i read that sti's bov is has a lighter spring. would an sti crushed hold 20 psi on a big 16g turbo? let me know quick guyz ### i wanna grab it tonight.

(also a quick part review on the type rs recirculation adapter kit, the tube they give is to screw on, wont reach the recir. line, this wont werk, waste of money. please do no but if u want to recirculate it, unless u have ## own ### extend it.)

I thought I read that both the WRX and STI BPVs were the same. "crushing" it only allows it to hold more pressure. Mike (nagyhead) did this to his on his vf39 hes running on his bugeye. His car ran strong when I seen it running w/out any problems. You should be good to go.

The wrx and sti bpv's are the same. It's the jdm sti bpv that can hold around 25psi. Have you tried adjusting your bov to see if that solves the problem?
