i think you'd be fine on a temporary basis, only WG boost. To achieve only WG boost run a hose from the compressor nipple directly to the WG with no restrictor pill.

the deadbolt turbos have free rebuilds for life and the quality of them is just so dam good. depending on what kinda of tune you have with a deadbold turbo or sr30 you could come close to maxing out the injectors

ProTune done today...

I just got back from Slow Boy Racing where I had my ProTune done for the SR30.
245 WHP @5575 rpm
239 LBFT @ 4465 rpm
hit 14lbs boost by about 3700

Tuning was done on a Dynapack Dyno. Slow Boy Racing going to e-mail me the Dyno graphs and I will post them as soon as I get them.

The weak spot in my setup is the intercooler I believe. The STi TMIC is just too small and it was heating up pretty good during the pulls. We would do three pulls, turn off the car, then spray the intercooler with water and set the blower directly on it to cool it down before we would do three more pulls. I was hoping to be over 250whp with this setup. I think that a FMIC would get me to that number fairly easily.

I know dyno charts will be much more informative. I will get them up here as soon as I get digital ones.

Go with the APS FMIC. Biggest volume around, and a direct bolt on. No cutting. Sweetest thing i have ever seen.... Guy i know here got the twin turbo set up for his G35 coupe looks sick and drives even sicker.....

Nice numbers.....A FMIC would help with WHP and TQ..but your boost will gain about 300-400 rpm before it hits max...
