Exclamation silicon hoses?????

I was wondering if adding silicon hoses to a wrx will add any hp gains for the car??? or anything else like better throttle response or acceleration like for example adding samco intercooler hoses on a stock turbo??? or perhaps adding a perrin or samco turbo inlet pipe??? in conclusion... are these better than stock?

Well they are better and might yield a minimal gain - 3-4 hp, you might be able to notice on the butt dyno tho! Not really worth the money.

that's what i heard about them too. when i spend the money on a new intercooler i think it wouldn't hurt, they're supposed to more efficiently direct the air

also if you plan on running higher boost they wont crack.. the plastic pices tend to split at high boost levels..

A new intercooler comes with new reinforced hoses. If you plan on getting a new IC don't buy the IC hoses.

I believe the turbo inlet may increase spool slightly.

You may also experience a slight gain in throttle response. They are not really needed until you start raising boost. At the point that you start significantly raising boost however, you should get a new ic and thus get new hoses anyways. It's probobally not something you want to spend your money on esspecialy if you plan on buying a new ic in the near future.
