should I remove my silencer?

hey guys,
My 04 wrx have the following mods such as:FMIC, 3" exhaust pipe, BOV ,intake, sti injectors ,perrin fuel rails, alt & crank pulley,Koyo radiator, blitz boost controller, and a utec computer.I bought the car with a silencer in the exhaust and not sure if i should take it out or not cause i was told its gonna give me a boost creep and blow my engine. But some ppl on the other hand say to take it out i will gain more HP and not harm the engine.
could u guys share your opinion on this for me pl.

appreciate any advise.

I can only assume, with the mods you've listed, you have a full turbo back exhaust. The silencer is just that. It is used to quiet the exhaust note. I've never heard of a silencer eliminating boost creep. I've never heard of boost creep being associated with the muffler. If I'm not mistaken, boost creep occurs more from the uppipe than your muffler. If you want the car to be louder, pull the silencer out. If you've got a boost gauge in the car just keep your eye on it while driving if you're still worried.

The silencer has nothing to do with boost creep or spike, only the exhaust sound.

The silencer is located in the air intake not the exhaust. You must be thinking of the resonator.
