Should I buy headers?

I have a 2004 wrx with a tbe and cobb stage2, I was wondering if i should get headers or not?

That all depends on what you want. I personally would get the stockers PnPed and a larger crossover pipe, that way you can keep stock look, keep the heat sheilds, increase flow and be able retain more heat due to heat sheilds and cast iron design(this will increase flow in exhaust). I have heard of lots of people happy about this setup and am planning on doing it myself.

Yes it would. What takes away the boxer rumble is when you go to equal length headers (stock manifolds are enequal lenght). Also, equal length headers usually require a 2.5l oil pan to be used.

+1 for PnP stock exhaust elbows with the high flow crosspipe.

Can't he just get a set of unequal length headers though? Like the Megan Racing one? Also not sure if he's done this or not but he can get a header with a new up-pipe too. Get that crappy catted one out of there.

Yes he could just get a new header instead of PnP the stock manifolds, but I see more benefits of the PnP. I agree with removing the original catted uppipe.

I have no cats on it! It 4in dp and 3in all the way back and a perrin uppipe! Wht is stockers PnPed and a larger crossover pipe?
