That is just the piping between the turbo inlet hose and the airbox. You can use the Blitz or stock airbox w/ it. I think that is neat. I think the Perrin IC hoses are the best.

Just a word of advice.... you should save your money and buy something that will make more power than the stock pieces you are replacing.

Cosmo, i understand what your saying about the power mods ive got the erz uppipe from ebay on order and im looking for a dp now. im not doing much to the car for about 8k more miles when my warenty runs out... plus my wife is threatning divorce if i spend 10K in mods like i did on my maxima

also i think improving the stock pieces would help a lil as far as air flow ie. less resistance incomming and out going. even though i still dont understand the whole intake thing, but its a tc'd car im still gettting use to, i had a stillen/vortec sc on my maxima but also hat a cai and no leaning/riching problems.

also i had a long talk with the service manager at baldwin motors in covington, la where i bought my rex about warentys and mods, he sd that they have never voided a warenty due to mods! there a auth prodriver dealer and installer also, but with the nerver voided thing it think it could be bs also. but also told me as a recomendation for upgrading the car is get rid of the stock uppipe, ive never heard a service guy to tell me to actaually change something on a car! Also the guy that owns the dealership is an avid racer he said for basic upgrades just as an improvement on the stock parts was to replace the ic hose and radiator hoses(if im doing alot of racing)

Well, forced induction moves more air than the engine can use anyways, so it's not going to matter what kind of piping it's going through.

Radiator hoses do absolutely nothing for performance. I thought for a second there was actually a cool intelligent service rep until he suggested on replacing the radiator hoses. O well its still pretty cool that he told you to replace the uppipe.

Unless its the sh#tty factory IC "Y" hoses. You can't even tell me with a straight face those things don't impede flow.
