remanufactured turbo
Hey guys,
I recently was looking at remanufactured turbos by forced performance. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them and if they were any good. Also what supporting mods would i need to safely run this turbo. Thanks
Nate

They make good stuff. What size turbo are you considering getting? With any aftermarket turbo you should look into engine management. That is, of course, unless you like buying new engines.

If you aren't looking for a lot more power, I'd suggest just getting a turbo-back exhaust. That will gain you some nice power for about the same money and a lot less work.

Depends...
w/ or w/o Engine management
W/ is about 25-30 and I'd say without is probably 15-25. Also catless or w/ a cat?

It depends on what you mean by "big". Figure on about 20 more wheel hp.

The FP upgrade is really nice for the stock turbo. Port, polish, new compressor wheel, clip on the turbine wheel. Very, very similar specs to a VF30.
