question

hey did anyone put back the heat shild on thier down pipe? also would i need a egt gauge if i just have an up and down pipe? and not running higher boost? thxs

I put the heat shield back on, because I didnt need to cut anything. And you dont need an EGT if you arent turning the boost up. Get a boost gauge first.

I had to cut my heat shield to fit, but it's worth it as there is a lot of heat generated out of that area (right next to the intercooler as well!).

EGT gauge is nice, but if your not nessing w/ boost you can do w/o.

Heat shield? What heat shield?

I am planning to wrap my uppipe, downpipe, and turbo in the near future, however.
