Question Problems with idle

I have an 04wrx with a Type-S Blow off (full atmospheric) and a N1 catback. Whenever i drive my car and shift from any gear to neutral (of couse while slowing down) i noticed my tach would drop all the way down to 0rpms then bounce back up to 1000 and drop to 500(standard rpm). I dont know if this is healthy for my car or what? I need help, please, if someone has any suggestions. Thanks

0 RPMs means the engine wouldn't be running. No its not good for the car either. Not sure of what the problem is though sorry.

Sounds like the BOV might not be closing all the way. But, if it's not stalling, it's not a huge problem.

This is bad! It's doing that because the spring isn't closing fast enough. The samething happens when you vent the stock BOV. Tighten the screw on the top of the BOV and that should do the trick.
And basically what happens is that the ECU dumps for fuel in there so the engine keeps on turning.
The other solution is to recirculate it.
