perrin short ram intake?

Is the perrin short ram intake worth it? Or should I just stay with the stock intake? Will I see a better quarter mile time with it?

Waste of money. Use a drop in filter in the stock airbox. CAIs aren't worth it, they are only for looks. Spend the money on a dual stage boost controller. You'll be much happier.

Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

The Perrin short ram isn't a "cold air" intake. It takes in air under the hood. And, no, it doesn't effect the MAF sensor.
