PE 1818 Vs. 16G

what is the main difference between these two other than price? they seem to be a close match, both a step up from the VF34 in terms of power, and seem like they would come on boost at close to the same time. any thoughts?

also, does the 1818 share the VF34 compressor, and the 1820 the VF22 compressor. i understand this to be the case, with the only differences being the size of the turbin and compressor wheels along with a different center cartrige. am i correct?

yea, ive seen that table, but thanks for posting it again. the main issues that ive heard regaurding the 1818 is that its laggy. however due to the ammount of air it flows, it shouldnt be as laggy as a 16G. right?

Well, that's not just based on air flow alone. Inlet/outlet size, wheel size and weight, etc etc all effect spool time. I wish I had some better info for ya, but I don't have any experience with either of those turbos.

AWHP or TQ would be next to impossiable given the WIDE veriety of supporting mods (exhaust, EM, intake, intercooler ect.)
