Theoritically, 5hp or 2.6whp... but you'll never feel any of it, and with other mods, it might end up not doing anything. Doesn't hurt to remove it either.

Training WRX by Nick Warne. The aussies that wrote the book seem to know their WRX's in and out, and I trust what they say for the most part. I'll scan it and post it if you want to see for yourself.

Dynos can easily be off by 3-5 HP between runs so its really impossible to tell that.

Quite true. You all just have to decide for yourself if it does anything

it just dosent seem logical. your not adding air, your not cooling it down, it just travels a shorter distance, and the distance air travels dosent increase or decrease power.

maybe im looking at it incorectly.

I mean technically if anything, you might lose a HP or two, since your getting air from the fender which is probably cooler than the direct feed from the ram air. But Nose is right, not adding air, changing the diameter of piping, messing w/ the filter or anything. Just a silencer that really does nothing power wise.

was just at the dyno the other day. a friend had a TXS shorty intake and for the sake of experimentation, we swapped it for the stocker there is ZERO difference between the 2.
Btw, he is running an 18g and put down +300whp
