"no name" inlets?

I"ve been doing some research on how to fix the cold fuel leak under the intake manifold on my 04' WRX. I've read that you can do the fix without taking the manifold off by cutting the OEM turbo inlet out and replacing it with a silicone inlet.

I really don't want to spend $250 on a inlet if I don't have to. so my question is if anyone has used the $100 "no name" inlet and had any luck with them, or if there aren't worth my 100 bucks.

Here's the style i'm looking at

There are claims of Perrin silicone turbo inlets collapsing under high pressure and eBay items are always hit or miss. It looks like that eBay inlet comes with a warranty, so you could always exercise that option if you have any issues or try throwing hose clamps around any areas of deformation.
