New Bosal Racepipe

Anyone seen/use/or thought about the bosal racepipe? I believe this deletes your 3rd cat. I'd like to know your thoughts before I make a purchase.

bosal racepipe

Thanks.

Jay

A vendor over on nabisco advertised it for $139.95 I asked for a combo deal with the bosal dp, and they told me $350 shipped in the u.s.

I emailed another vendor and they offered to ship dp, racepipe, and gaskets for $335. So i think i might go with the latter vendor.

Sounds like a good deal, but I do not know much about the Bosal DP.

Edit: Just looked it up. 2.75" is smaller than most, 3" is the typicial DP size, the divorced wastegate pipe is pretty long, but I can see that as a good thing actually. Other than that, I like it.

Sounds like a good price, but I don't really like the fact that it is 2.75" rather then 3". You will be going to a full cat-less setup with the Bosal downpipe and racepipe. You may as well buy a Helix catless downpipe for $285 from gruppe-s.com or if you don't want a full cat-less setup go with the Helix catted downpipe for $385. Both are Bellmouth design(which I perfer) with a 3" diameter and both will bolt right up to the stock catback and there is no need for a racepipe. As for the Turbo XS racepipe, it is 3", but it only bolts to the Turbo XS downpipe and TXS cat-back unless you purchase the adapter pipe.
