MY03 Automatic Radiator replacement

I have an MY03 WRX automatic(4EAT) with a leaking radiator. I purchased a mishimoto aluminum radiator (link) and a Mishimoto external transmission cooler (link.

Now i'm curious if anyone has done this replacement, or has a guide on doing the transmission cooler replacement part of the radiator install?

Thanks in Advance,
Dan

They call me mellow yellow..... sorry, I had to. I know a few people should chime in here as they have attempted a mishimoto radiator install or two. I have nothing helpful I can say at this time as I have not done this replacement.

Well it took 8 hours, 2 trips to the machine shop, 3 trips to the store, and 3 people, but i got it sorted out and looking good, and most importantly working properly.

Nice job. Let us know what the quirks were to the install. If you could.

well the radiator part was fairly cut and dried, though the one caution i would have to add is that the lines feeding transmission oil to the cooler are made of metal, and bend rather easily if they get hooked on the radiator as you pull it out. The real quirky part is installing the transmission cooler, because it is a bit large and sit fairly awkwardly in front of the AC radiator. but all in all, it's really a matter of pushing things around and trying to not break everything at once and eventually it works out.

Thanks, my only question is. Why do you keep putting up generic ebay links to radiator?

I have no earthly idea. The system is doing that itself. i just type the word in and it doesn't show any difference, but when it posts it automatically hyperlinks itself.

If i hover over the link, it says "Link added by VigLink"
