My Engine Blew

I am based in Malaysia and I track very often in our F1 Track called Sepang. But a week ago my engine blew, complete melt down. My car is a JDM WRX (265 on crank HP) but I have made some small mods like VF30 Turbo. APS Cold Air Induction Kit, Warbro 255 internal Fuel Pump, cut injectors and off course Enguinity tuning. The last time I dynoed it about a year and a half, 290 on wheel HP running about 1.4 bar of boost.
I have bought another JDM WRX engine, I was initially looking for a STI Version 7 engine, but prices asking are above my budget.
So I asking my North American bros, what mods should I do to my stock JDM WRX engine to reduce a possibility of another melt down!
Like Forge pistons, better conrod bearings etc.
Thank you.

Eagle rods, eagle bearings, forged pistons, new crank and your rings and gaskets will prolife your motor will hold way more than what your pushing.

Garage
remember guys, the JDM internals are totally different than the USDM internals

jamesweh, you'll find the folks here mostly have experience with USDM stuff and our JDM knowledge is limited...

A good tune would have made you motor last a lot longer. It is mostly the tune that damages the motor. Even with all the bling, bling parts, you can still ruin a motor with a crap / no tune.

Good Luck with it, hate to hear the issues you are having.
IMO, I think the engine is a really good one, just make sure to tune it, even a stock engine will benefit from a tune, and I don't mean power, I mean longevity.

Thanks guys for your replies, I should have added, I am also using a HKS Oil Cooler. In Malaysia a second hand JDM WRX (265HP) is very cheap, about USD1,575.00 without turbo, just the engine and heads etc. But after this Blow Out, I am thinking of purchasing a pure track car. Like a DC5 Intergra.
