Mod inputs

Ok guys I did it. I bought an 02 WRX sadean. I have wanted one for about a year and finnal found one that I wanted. This is going to be a daily driver so I was going to get some ideas for mods. Let me know what you think
V34 Turbo
FMIC
Pink injectors
255 fuel pump
helix up pipe and turbo back exhaust
Cold air intake
lowering springs. (can any one tell me how low I should go)
Tune
Does any one think I am getting to wild with this combo?

Sounds perfect except for the CAI and the FMIC. A bigger top mount would be plenty big enough to handle a vf-34.

Don't forget that you need ENGINE MANAGEMENT to run all that Cobb Access Port is a good way to go.

Yeah I would just stick with a bit TMIC... less turbo lag and less expensive.

Also you definitely need the Cobb AP or the Utec depending on what shops in your area prefer. Also, scrap the CAI... get the SPT shortram and their heatshield instead.

That list looks decent for a dd. The only things that I would change would be the intake, intercooler, and to tell you to really look into some EM.

If you need an intake, I have a K&N Typhoon short ram w/ heat shield. Barely used, hit me up.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I'm really not in that big of a rip to do it. It's only posted for sale on this board. I thought about taking it to Nasioc, but I'm still kind of attached to it.

The fmic is more the fact that I want one. I know I am going to have alittle more lag but hey its what I want. There is a shop local that I am going to have tune it. Do you have to have a piggy back to tune the car. The shop told me the can just tune the stock ecu. They are going to dyno tune it at 120 bucks an hour.

Why are CAI bad. I would think the short ram intakes are worse. They are still sucking air from under the hood.

They aren't horrible as long as you are tuned to run one, it just isn't needed at the power level your going for.

Yeah cause it changes the way the MAF reads the amount of air coming into the motor. It's a pain but unless you're tuned for it, they tend to throw CELs and stuff.

Not as bad as a CAI but it would still benefit you to get it tuned with any kind of aftermarket intake.

Your mod list looks good. Don't go any lower than 1.5 inches. The Tein S-Techs would be perfect on your car and you might want to look into sway bars, I like Cusco

My turbo's fixed and a lot better =)
