Midpipe Question

I have looked at the exhaust diagram in the modification manual, but I still have one question. I understand a Cat back exhaust, DP and UP is just about the full turbo back exhaust but what I don't understand is that still leaves a midpipe in there with a cat. Would i need to buy an aftermarket midpipe? or is it included with one of the above pieces?

Thanks,

Mark

Most aftermarket downpipes is a one-piece that replaces both the downpipe and midpipe. However, if you wish to retain the the stock cat in the midpipe, some companies like Bosal offer downpipes that is only the upper section.

Ok I just have a few quick questions and I think I am done asking exhaust questions :

1) Will the following work in conjunction with eachother:

-->BORLA Hush catback ( I do not like really loud cars, but I understand that power comes with some nose)
-->Helix flex Up-Pipe
--> Helix Down-pipe (includes mid-pipe)

2) Assuming it works, would this be my quietest possible setup while still maintaining maximum HP gains through the exhaust?

3) Will the resonator in the mid-pipe have any negative effects?

4) Assuming all this will work, would this be a good choice for the exhaust department of a full vf34 upgrade along with fuel pump, utec, sti injectors, intercooler and all necessary parts?

Thankyou very much for your constant and timely help,

Mark

A will designed resonator will have no effects on power.
