max boost for the stage IV WRX

I've got a big turbo for the stage IV 2.0L -- the 18g -- and could easily reach boost pressures that would blow the stock clutch and transmission and maybe the stock internals as well.

Using conservative gear-shifting practices, what's the max boost possible without blowing something up?

EDIT: on 92 octane

Unfortunately, there is no "magic number". I have seen blown engines and broken transmission on stock turbos. It all depends on your state of tune.

Get your AFR and timing right, and you can run pretty high boost. Get it wrong, and you can't run much at all.

ngeren is more helpful than not
Cosmo is on the money. I ran around all day long on 19 psi on my previous tune. 2 Fridays ago I went to the track on my new tune and had it dialed in at 23 psi, on my second run of the night second gear decided it wanted to shatter.
