Living With COBB WRX Stage2 Power Pack

Is a COBB WRX Stage2 Power Pack kit and tune any harder to live with than a stock '04 WRX? I'm referring to fuel mileage, day-to-day driveability, maintenance, etc.

I like that the Power Pack is a complete upgrade that designed to bolt on to a standard WRX and work well together.

id imagine your good to go with that. the only thing is i read that the up pipe on the 02-05 models is that when you increase airflow the cats break down eventually into the turbo. ScoobyTuner.com - Engine, Exhaust, Suspension, Brakes, ECU Tuning and more for your Subaru; STi, WRX, Legacy, Forrester and Mitsubishi; Lancer, EVOlution Evo-8, EVO-9, EVO-10 and Eclipse otherwise sweet!

I don't like their cat-back. It's loud and a little high pitched for my taste. Certainly nothing wrong with it functionally though.

I'd look for previously owned.... but that's just me.

COBB's stuff is top notch for sure.

I just went stage 2 on sunday so I can speak about fuel mileage yet. I can say it made the car easier to drive around the tall hills by my house. Especially the one on my way home. Power sooner = less shifting.

I cant wait to do my up pipe soon because I here I will spool sooner with that. I have an 05 so I have a catted up pipe. As far as maintenance... this car is way less maintenance than my B5 s4 so Im happy but I miss the tq from the 2.7 v6 twin turbo.

I also agree with find the parts used. I found my TBE used and it sounds and looks great. Grand the catback is a GMS exhaust it sounds fantastic. I cant afford brand new parts because I have a baby due sept 18th. Only brand new part was accessport v2.
