Just a little warning

I read some info on the diffs in our cars from the WRX trianing book. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has loaded the car up and chirped the tires. You should avoid doing this. It creates increased heat in the diffs which in extreme cases can burn the fluid which then can lead to the diff being permanently damaged. I wish I had'nt spun 'em at the track all those times.

YUP....... just like any other car.

Sure its not good for them , but unless you do it CONSTANTLY , I wouldn't worry about it.
LSD's are pretty tough diffs.

Make sure that you're checking your Diff fluid and your tranny fluid. Make sure there is not burnt smell to it, and that the fluid itself is not burnt up. If it starts getting a little on the Dark side, it's time to change it. Just something to think about.....
