Just thought I'd like to share it with everyone. especially since theres not too much on standard 16g turbos. The tune is super smooth and runs great! Nothing jaw-dropping, just a dailydriver/autoX car.

here's the engine mods:
Cobb AP V.2
FP16g turbo (ported n polished by SlowBoyRacing)
DeatschWerks 650cc Injectors
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump

SubieSport Lightweight Pulleys

You are the best! LOL thanks for posting this I am thinking of running a extremely similar set up this was nice to see what kind of numbers I should expect to see from a actual person as apposed to potentially biased sites. Once again thanks alot for the post very helpful!

The regular 16G tops out pretty easy on the 2.5L. Here's the EJ257 on another mustang dyno with a 16G. You can see the rapid fall off. It's actually spent before 5252 rpm so the hp is less than the torque. You can see boost start falling at 3600 rpm even (green line). Granted I'm a little intercooler limited but it's far from an ideal boost curve. Even 14 PSI is pushing the of efficiency range of the turbo and power freefalls after 6000rpm

An 18G is a much better sized turbo for the 2.5L. The 16G is much better suited to the EJ205 2.0L but even then, many people will find it small.
