Joe-p MBC help

I read a lotabout the Joe-p MBc, and the install wasn't a problem at all (I think)

I have an insane about of boost in all my gears now. 1st-3rd gear the turbo finally releases at .15mpa. I know something is wrong. I tried everything to adjust the mbc. I unscrewed the screw until it came out and staryted from there. Still the same problem. I tried adjusting with the screw all the way in, nothing, still the same problem.

Are you only supposed to use the MBC on a stock car? I have a unichip at Stage 1 right now. Is there something wrong with the MBC, or is it my chip that is causing this?

What is strange is that my EGT gauge wasn't giving me any sort of high readings with all the boost I was running . When the car hit .15 mpa, I only got a 1200F reading on my EGT.

The bottom of the MBC goes to the turbo, the side of the MBC goes to the wastegate. I checked this about 10 times.

I love the amount of boost, but I know I am probably killing my turbo. I took the MBC out until I know what is wrong.

Thanks for the help!!!!

mpa = megapascals. .15 mpa translates to 21.756 psi, which translates to a big hole in your bank account if you keep it up.

I have the same MBC. First, make sure it's hooked up correctly. The hose from the turbo outlet should go to the bottom of the MBC, and the hose from the side of the MBC should go to the waste gate. If it is, and the adjustments don't do anything, take it off. Unscrew the screw all the way and shake it. You should hear the ball rattling around inside. If not, something is jamming it. You can try spraying some contact cleaner inside it to free it up, but JoeP will replace it if it malfunctions, so I'd try that. With the screw unscrewed all the way, you should only have like .02-.03 mpa of boost.
