intercooler gasket

Hey guys, i took off of work today and was a lil bored. So i did the throttle body coolant bypass only took about 30 mins pretty simple. Will i notice any difference beside anger after a cold start?? My question is when i took the intercooler off i noticed there was no gaskets between the metal ends on the Y pipe and the intercooler. Should there be 2 gaskets in there???? I always thought when you were putting two metal parts together to hold water or air their needs to be gaskets??

there should be gaskets between the 2. you can use high temp silicone gasket maker, which you can find at your local auto store, or get new ones from the dealer.

you should notice nothing from the bypass mod, not sure why people even do it.
