Intercooler 20g

So i'm just finishing installing my td05-20g, supported by a walboro fuel pump, and 820 cc injectors. (Is getting tuned before any driving of it) My question is for my cooling setup, right now i have the wrx intercooler off and have my buddys's sti cooler installed while we build his motor, but its not a permanent solution. What would you guys recommend? Using the stock wrx IC, buying a turbo xs fmic from a local shop for 350, or some other tmic?

The FMIC... Especially for $350

Who's tuning you?

I've run a 20G on an STI TMIC and a TurboXS FMIC. Both worked for what they were, but clearly the latter choice is less restrictive. If you get the one from the shop, make sure it's not a replica. It's very easy to tell. Core is super heavy and the cold side piping has a welded joint if it's fake.

Follow up question. The 20g is installed, along with the new inlet, still running stock 03 wrx injectors, internal wastegate set to 10 psi. Will I be safe to run with this(not going WOT) for a week or so while i get the FMIC money together? I could go get tuned on the stock injectors, but i'd rather wait and tune with the big injectors and the FMIC all at once. Or even tune on the large injectors pre FMIC.

You should be fine driving like a grandma for a week. You should even be fine getting it all on and then waiting a week for the tune. Just don't go into boost.

One question, why a 20g ?
