intake silencer mod

i just finished this mod and its great the turbo spools louder and you can kinda hear the bov. BUt, one question will this mod hinder performance in any way, because it seems as though the car is lagging. It might be because im used to the spool being lower at lower rpms and im just imaging it but can anyone give me some input of this. I dont feel like screwing up my car for a cheap mod.

I felt like the car was weak at low RPMs when I did my silencer delete too. Also, I didn't like the new sound. So I put it back on and was happy again. It's most likely a placebo effect, but I didn't like the placebo.

There are 10 billion threads about this. Maybe we should reinstate the search first policy.

Step on the brake pedal and wait for the odometer to go away
