I promised myself I wouldn't but I have an exhaust Question

Alright, here's my deal. I am in love with the Autospeed Dual Tip Catback, the only problem with it is the $650 price tag. I have been looking at the Bosal Dual tim for almost half the price ($350). Looks alone, the Bosal it alright but $350 is a great price. I was also considering a custom catback but I don't see or hear of a lot of you guys doing that, why not? Anyways any opinions you guys have on the matter would be great. I'm really looking for performance before looks but I don't want it to look like ass.

Thanks

I was in the same exact situation as you, with the same three options. I am going to get the Bosal becuase of the price, and I've read some good stuff about it, how it sounds nice and deep, never read any bad things abou it. I would of gone with a custom catback but the guy I was going to went up in price to 400 bucks.

The SPT exhaust sold by subaru is actually made by bosal. They are the same exhaust. Subaru puts SPT on it and sells it for more. I am probably going with this exhasut as well.

I have the Bosal on my car (it's the 5th different cat-back I've had) and I love it.

if you're looking for performance out of muffler you're looking in the wrong place. Get a muffler based on sound, and noise level that you yourself like.

The reason most people don't go with custom made exhaust is because mandrel bending is alot harder to find then crush bending. I know I can have a crush bent catback made for my car for right around $125, but to have one that is mandrel bent, I am looking at around $350. I went with a used Helix catback, because I got it with the downpipe and paid $400 for both. I like the way it sounds, but I do not like the big coffee can muffler that sticks out from the back of my car.
