Yeah Im praying for my tranny as well. I actually plan on keeping boost right around 19-20. I dont want anything crazy. I got my tuning date with XXTuning for Oct 15th. Ill see what they say about a new BCS.
Like i said over on csc, looking good. Any plans with the tranny, or just letting it play out? Hopefully we dont pull up next to each other on the street or highway. I will have to get off the next exit and hide in shame. Your car already sounds really sick, this is just going to be nasty! awesome

I might have to put off the install for a few weeks now... I just dislocated my shoulder at a party Friday night. Had to go to Backus hospital and get it put back in. I have to keep it in a sling for 4-5 weeks and take it easy after that. I made an appointment with XXTuning for Oct 15th, but, I might not be able to work on my car then. We'll have to see. I also found out I need a BOV adapter for a FMIC. Have to find one somewhere.
damn, now...i know why your more worried about it without the tune and the prick that took her for a ride. man, i pray that she's in tip-top shape now. I'm pulling for you bro.
Well, unfortunately... Im not getting tuned Tuesday. I had to cancel.
Ive been having a problem with misfiring since the install, you might have read the other posts. Noah (a local tuner) and me have been trying everything to figure out what it could be. We thought maybe it was just too much fuel. Nope, Noah tried everything he could think of with Enginuity... nothing... I changed the spark plugs... Still misfired.... I switched the coilpack from Cylinder 3 to Cylinder 4, still the same Cylinder 4 is still misfiring...
It WAS 2 & 4, but, now its only 4, go figure.
I dont know what else it can be except for a bad injector. Im not the richest person in the world, so it looks like I might have to cut my injectors down to pinks, they are the most readily available. Noah says I should be able to hit 300awhp even with pinks. Idk. My other option is Deastchworks 650cc's for $360. Pink I could get for ~$250. I just dont feel like ripping my motor apart AGAIN! Working on Subarus is a freakin biatch. Why cant the injectors be located like a Honda motor? !Laugh! ...
The sad part is, when I didnt know where my car was, I thought of what I might have to drive, and first thing that came to mind was like a beat up 95 civic.
so that explains why your car hasn't been at work. i drive by every morning then return in late afternoon and never see you car. So eric, any extra parts laying around i could use??? and if you ever need help installing anything im willing to get dirty and be in the way for a couple hours. Im used to DSM's but im sure it cant be to different, more air in, more air out. lol. give me a call sometime if you ever need help.
Hmm... I dont really have anything left over you need. Stock TMIC, stock injectors, stock pump, thats about it. Stock turbo is gone. I am going down to XX tomorrow to buy new, flow tested, Deastchwerks 650cc injectors. A buddy of mine that helped me with this install is coming back over and helping me out again tomorrow night around 6pm. We should be able to bang it out in 3 hours or less. He takes one side, I take the other. If you're not doin anything and want to swing by, let me know. I just cant wait to get my car going again. I will be so happy when something goes RIGHT with it. Im sure Ill break my transmission the next day when Im done with it, thats my luck ROFL
Ok, just got back from XX Tuning. They had one set of Deatschwerks 650cc's left. I picked them up... $391... ouch....
They look nearly IDENTICAL to the stock ones. I was almost wondering if my stock ones were deatschwerks. I think they are, actually. The ONLY differences are the huge O-Ring on the DW, slightly bigger holes on the bottom, and the stock ones say "D" and a few numbers like "07" "324" "3920". The 650cc's say "D" and a few numbers like "27" "325" "3920".
It couldnt be the new ones I just bought. They have all the Deastchwerks paper work and flow-matching sheets. Idk why the previous owner would modify the stock injectors, the car was stock when I bought it.
Anyways, heres an update. The next earliest appointment I could make with XXTuning for a tune is Wednesday, Oct 24th at 5:00pm. So thats my new appointment. Tonight Im putting on the new DW injectors and Im praying they dont misfire. If it does, then idk wtf is wrong with my car.
