You get a really sharp Pen and poke it.

Just Kidding! (disclaimer: Do not poke the airbag!) LoL!

Can't you disconnect the battery?

Shopping for Audi's? Sweet.... You can probably make a lot of money off the airbag huh? Because whenever you get into an accident, if the airbag went off, it costs a CRAPLOAD (idk how much a crapload is) of money extra.

!Laugh! Probably because of the weight. They are huge looking cars! I bet the S4 is pretty luxious though.

I see. You want a nice car as your Daily, with your Subie as your fun car. I need a Daily so i can Supercharge my Jetta. Just kiddin'.... Maybe after I get my wrx, i'll look into an older GC chassis Impreza as a daily.....

yea its a lot like the sti except for all that rear leg room, the 3 square miles of leather they use, speed proportional steering, and the 340 HP @ 7,000 rpm with 302 ft lb @ 3,500 rpm and do not forget its a audi s4 not a subaru impreza. i did miss the turbo power band tho. just kinda revved up there til it was time to shift, nothing to exciting.

2008 Audi S4:
15/20 MPG
3869 lbs.
Rear Legroom: 34.3 inches
$48,610.00
0-60 mph : 5.6 sec.
0-¼ mile : 14.5 sec @ 98.0 mph(estimated)

2008 WRX STi:
18/25 MPG
3395 lbs.
Rear Legroom: 33.5 inches
$34,995.00
0-60 mph : 4.7 sec.
0-¼ mile : 13.2 seconds @ 104.0 mph

for reference...
2007 WRX STi:
19/25 MPG
3351 lbs.
Rear Legroom: 33.0 inches
0-60 mph : 4.7 sec.
0-¼ mile : 13.2 seconds @ 104.0 mph
$33,495.00

So basically, they all have almost identical rear room (wait, .8 inches makes all the difference!). The Subys just get better gas miledge, are considerably faster, and cost a hell of a lot less.

The average cost to tuck in a deployed airbag is around $1,500 and then another $500 to put the sensors back into place. It sucks completely. My buddy wrecked is Chrysler 300 SRT 8 when he was street racing and it rolled the vehicle and it didn't do enough damage to total it but it did set off all of the air bags. That would include the front air bags and all of the side collision air bags too. So he is just going to get something else instead of trying to fix it lol.
