New smaller overflow bottle

And away we goooooo...

HyperFlow Front Mount Intercooler.

Side view

Charge pipe I believe.

Other pipe on.

Both pipes again, Blow Off Valve still not on.

Core on, pipes attached.

Me working on the car.

Got the bumper back on after about an hour of cutting the plastic from it.

Job nicely done.
[/color]

Pretty much sums it up.

Thanks for the great pics!

My radiator has 40-60% of the fins bent from rocks and stuff. Have thought about a FMIC but was concerned it would get ruined after 2-3 yrs.

Got a question -- how do you keep the alu fins from getting bent/damaged. Is there a fibre glass cover.

I had one of those FMIC's for a long time. I liked it...

I have a piece of plastic mesh over my FMIC to protect it from rocks / bugs / etc...

FMIC vs TMIC

hi,

i own a WRX bug eye TIPTRONIC and have done few mods to it.

straight through exhaust pipe 3'' , cold air induction kit, B.O.V and increased boost to 1.2 bar

i want to put a walbro 255 fuel pump and uprated injectors along side an FMIC but dont know if the performance gains will be worth the money for an FMIC!

please advise me on what performance gains you noticed and if it was worth the money for the FMIC.

cheers

Yes the Hyperflow did keep the fogs, but they have been out of business for a number of years now, so good luck finding one if you were interested in it

That's not possible unless you've removed your AC condenser, which sits in front of the radiator...

Wow, that is a big TMIC! The quality of your FMIC kit is also apparent.

Maybe we can get a group buy together, try to cut down on those international shipping costs.
