Well i took my car and put it on the dyno yesterday and my engine we found out is going bad i only have 40k on it and one of my cylinders are down, anyways i bought a STI short block and im putting my 2.0 heads on it, i was wondering how this runs on performance whys the tuner was saying how they are very good engine on making Tq and then he said that they have no higher end power, but i was wondering like how bad of a higher end do they have if i use my stock 2.0 cams in there. im in a hurry typing this i hope it made sense thanks alot guys.
I have no clue as to why your tuner thinks you have no more high end power. I have stock 2.0l heads with a PnP and stock internals on my hybrid and I am putting out way more power. Maybe he is thinking that you are going to reuse your TD04.
well what i think he means i will get alot more higher range power say if i would put sti cams in it or some other type of cams other than my stock cams, what were your numbers you made
comes down to budget, if you can afford go aftermarket. Those are good times but the turbo I am running can push way more PSI but I need to get a 70mm housing or go to a denstiy setup to get away form MAF readings(but dont have the funds).
to go Density I need a new ECU like a Hydra or buy a UTEC. Not with in my budget compaired to a temporary fix of just going with a bigger MAF housing but I need to get tuned for that as well.
