how to extend y-pipe

can i extend my wrx y-pipr or do i have to buy an sti one or aftermarket

extend it ? Are you putting a STi TMIC on there ? What's the issue?

if you're putting the sti top mount on your car you need longer hoses to fit to your turbo and t/b. Here is a great link that explains it all. Summary: USDM STi TMIC installation - NASIOC

+1 midniteblack, very good link. i did the same wit my ebay one last month. i cut the 90 degree elbow and put copper pipe between them, clamped them and done. easy to do

Just buy the 40.00 elbow.... 1 time shot...

3 pc set from eBay you mean ? Not a wise decision.....
