I managed to avoid spending 10-15K...i decided to not go with 24k gold plate everything and went with used items..i do appreciate the bashing, and i appreciate the help. i got enough support mods to make sure she runs healthy. eventually a new motor, for now shes perfect.

as i said i have enough support mods, probably not everything.

what i can think of off the top of my head is...

3" catback HKS sport
3" invidia Bellmout catless Down pipe
ATP GT30 Garrett Turbo stock location
Catlest uppipe 3-bolt
Equal length headers
Walbro 255
ID 1000cc injectors
Sti TMIC intercooler W/ Synapse Diverter Valve
Grimmspeed 3-port boost controller
6" AEM dry filter cone on short ram intake
Protune with cobb AP
I run amsoil OE series since i change oil frequently

Havent had any heating issues....knock on wood

She eats oil..trying to figure that out.

For my original post i ended up doing the resistor trick and putting a bolt in there. apparently that code only exist to protect the cat in the uppipe, which i dont need to worry about.

STI TMIC is a bit too small for a turbo that size. Once you get to 20G sized turbos (yours is bigger) they get to be restrictive and you need to go with a larger and freer flowing core.

What bout engine and transmission builds? This turbo is much larger than what you should be running on the stock bits components if you're using it anywhere close to its potential. That makes up most of the budget I mentioned.

Did you get this dyno'd at the same time of the protune? What are you getting for HP/TQ if so?
