HKS SSQV BOV on ebay?

Ive been looking into getting a HKS SSQV BOV (i know about the pops and flames if your catless) and I decided to check them out on Ebay and they had some for really cheap.... they had "NEW HKS SSQV BOV" for tons of different cars for $80 buy it now.... how is this possible? Anyone purchased one or anything?

I think what you found was the universal kit without the flange to fit the WRX. I bought a used SSQV off of Ebay with flange for 170 shipped.

Make sure that it has a WRX specific flange on it. If you are wondering what one looks like, go out to your car and look at the stock BOV and look where it attaches to the intercooler, that is what it should look like. Expect to pay $150+ for a HKS SSQV w/ WRX flange. Also make sure it comes with a recirculating plug(i think thats what its called). I got mine off of NASIOC because most times it is cheaper then E-bay.

ManicsWRX, they have HKS SSQV wrx "type" flanges on E-bay for $24.99, basically they are a knock off brand. The look good in the picture, but I am not sure if they really work.

Greg, be very careful with these. They're more than likely knock offs. I would be very leary of any bov for under $100.

check out the parts trader sections of different Subaru sites. You'll have better luck this way.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...
